ESTATE VINEYARDS

We take pride in farming distinct and extraordinary sites in Paso Robles & Edna Valley

Farming and winemaking are an integrated pair, and we are dedicated to farming thoughtfully and telling the story of both the vineyards and the vintage in our wines.

Rolling Vineyard

We own two vineyards in Paso Robles. Bootjack Ranch was the first vineyard Richard Niner purchased back in the early 2000s and features rolling hills of grapevines and olive trees. Heart Hill Vineyard is home to our tasting room and winery along with a diverse set of Bordeaux and Rhone varietals.

We also farm a coastal site in the Edna Valley AVA. Jespersen Ranch lies just four miles from the ocean where Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and other cool-climate suited grapes thrive in the coastal environment.

Our vineyards are SIP certified and we constantly challenge ourselves to improve our practices with the goal of improving the long-term health of our ecosystem. As a result, we borrow and adopt smart practices from across the sustainability spectrum.

Paso Robles Geneseo District Bootjack Ranch

Although we no longer farm Bootjack Ranch, we have wines to release through the 2021 vintage! The vineyard is located in the Geneseo District of Paso Robles. This sprawling site is our oldest vineyard and is planted with predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Sangiovese. We also farmed smaller blocks of Malbec, Barbera, Petit Verdot and Carménère here.
