After a retrospective tasting of our cellar, our winemaking team was captivated by how this wine was tasting, so much so that we are releasing a small amount from our library to share with our club members.
In 2013, we knew this particular block of Cabernet Sauvignon represented the best fruit from the vineyard that year and we carved out a small piece of the block to chase a long fermentation, with Petit Verdot. Extended maceration of almost four weeks produced a burly wine with amazing density and structure. We then aged it in barrel for 20 months before bottling it unfiltered. Download Tech Sheet »
