"Use my Kitchen, Tell your story"
We are excited to open up our kitchen for the first dinner in Edible Magazine's new series "Use my kitchen, Tell your story." This dinner features Chef Byron Gomez. Born in Costa Rica and raised in New York, he most recently helmed supper club 7908 in Aspen, CO. You might even recognize him from Bravo's Top Chef!
Guests will dine outside on the patio overlooking Heart Hill Vineyard, as Chef Byron Gomez tells his story through a series of Costa Rican dishes served with our estate wines. Edible Magazine's resident chef, Rachel Ponce, will be the sous chef for the evening, and our kitchen team will work alongside them to bring Chef Byron Gomez's vision to life.
"Use my Kitchen, Tell your Story," works in partnership with local restaurants, wineries, and individuals who have offered the use of their kitchens to chefs who have immigrated to the US, welcoming them to tell their stories through a series of dishes, using food as a tool to find common ground, foster understanding and ignite conversations about how food stems from cultural and personal experience.
Other dinners in the series include:
Malaysian dinner, at Windrose farm on September 16th
Filipino dinner, at Della's on September 28th
