This Syrah has firm tannins, exceptional structure and balance. Aromas begin with elements of tar, crusty cured meat, and dried Asian spice, followed by rich dark chocolate and hints of coconut and candied berries. The palate shows juicy fruit, campfire smoke, bacon, allspice and petrol, with acidity to balance the richness and pepper through to the finish.
