69% Sangiovese, 29% Barbera, 2% Cabernet Franc
Crafted in the saignee style of rose winemaking, a blend of light skinned Italian grapes (predominantly Sangiovese and Barbera) were chosen to provide the juice. Afterwards, the wine was fermented in 100% stainless steel and aged for just 5 months to accentuate its crisp and refreshing taste. The nose on this wine screams summer: fresh watermelon and bright cherry notes burst out of the glass. Bone dry on the palate, this strawberries and cream colored Rosato is absolutely enticing with its balance of juicy fruit and smooth acid.
