Fog Catcher is always comprised of the best Bordeaux blends of the year and the 2014 vintage exceeded expectations. Aromatics of dark blackberry, brushy herb and vanilla bean radiate from the glass and continue to develop into deeper layers of rich fruit and cinnamon as you swirl. The palate drapes delicate floral and fruit components over a structured mouthfeel to create a rich and glamorous experience outlined by impressive + dense tannins. Extended bottle aging will heavily benefit this wine and decanting is recommended, especially in its youth. Download tech sheet »

"the 2014 Fog Catcher reveals a very deep garnet-black color and is scented of cassis, black berries and warm plums plus suggestions of pencil shavings, sautéed herbs, dusty earth and Indian spices. The medium to full-bodied palate is full-on gorgeous with grainy, beautifully ripe tannins, expressive fruit that simply sings with vibrancy and a lovely savory background, finishing with impressive persistence. Still pretty firm and youthful, give it another year or two in bottle and drink it over the next 15+"
