100% Jespersen Ranch
This wine marks the first release from Molly Bohlman, our Pinot Noir & Chardonnay Winemaker who joined the team in 2014. The grapes were whole-cluster pressed and the juice was transferred to a stainless steel tank where it settled overnight. The next morning, the wine was racked and transferred to oak barrels, of which about 1/3 were New French Oak. 100% of this Chardonnay went through ML fermentation, and the lees stirring created a creamy & luxurious mouthfeel on the finished wine withouht lending any dominating butter notes. Brioche, yellow peach & caramel aromas prelude a silken mouthfeel that showcases pear & cream notes elicited from lees stirring this wine received in barrel. Download tech sheet »

"Light and delicate aromas of Gravenstein-apple custard and lemon curd grow a tad stronger with patience, delving into white peach, vanilla cream and a touch of bubblegum. There is solid textural tension on the palate, where Meyer lemon pith meets with cashew and browned butter flavors."
