Paso Robles Red Wine
This wine is named for both spurs on boots, reminiscent of our Bootjack Ranch, and for the spurs on grapevines in the vineyard. It is a blend of varieties traditionally grown in Bordeaux and the Rhône -- a “twist” that we Americans, unfettered by French law, are free to enjoy!
This delicious estate blend of Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot is redolent with many of the qualities that we love in these varieties – black pepper, cured meats and cooking spices fill the glass, followed by beautiful earthy aromas of cedar, lichen and forest floor. Firm tannins and ideal structure are combined with a playful edginess in this lively Paso Robles blend.
